Driving Growth and Strengthening Regional Competitiveness

Carmelita’s appointment comes at a critical time as the region faces increasing demand for skilled professionals and marks a new chapter for CityMatch as we scale our efforts to support employers, strengthen communities, and ensure that newcomers feel welcomed and valued.

Carmelita will lead initiatives to expand our presence in London and St.Thomas, focusing on deepening our relationships with the region’s top employers. Her professional journey also includes key roles such as Manager of Major Accounts at ADP, supporting students and internationally trained professionals at the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario, and contributing to the financial and academic sectors through positions at CIBC and her Alma Mater, Brescia University College.

Carmelita’s volunteer roles with the Middlesex Centre Economic Development Advisory Committee, Mainstreet London and Museum London also underscore her commitment to fostering a thriving and inclusive region. Her ability to bridge corporate goals with community needs will advance our vision of a more connected and resilient region.

Carmelita’s leadership will be pivotal as we build on our reputation as a recognized leader in relocation and transition support programs. Her ability to build partnerships and community and her innovative mindset will turbocharge our service offerings for the employers and institutions we support. I help with stuff at the edges, it's the stuff that wraps around the heart of a business and makes it more than a business. Money is what the other guys worry about, I help with stuff that makes a business a meaningful, contributing member of communities and society. If it's done right it's the stuff that makes you stand out, the stuff that makes you remarkable.
